It is not for nothing that turmeric is called the spice of kings. Its homeland is South-East India. Even in ancient times, people noticed its medicinal properties. And realizing what a wonderful plant it was, they immediately replaced expensive saffron with it.

There are practically no contraindications to the use of curcumin. Unless the person is allergic, and he has a specific reaction to this product. But the bulk of humanity is not threatened by the use of curcumin.

How to take turmeric properly.

The fact is that simply buying the spice on the market and adding it to your diet, you will get very little benefit. Because it is assimilated poorly, it is completely insoluble in water. Therefore it is better to use the pharmacy version – an extract. It is sold without a prescription.

So how can we make sure that all the curcumin that we consume will stay in our body? There are three golden rules, which should be strictly followed.

  1. Curcumin likes fats. Add a little oil and that is the first step to easy digestion of the product.
  2. heat. It is enough to warm up a drink with turmeric, and it will become many times more useful.

And, finally, the most important rule. This spice must be activated. The activator in this case is the usual black pepper. It enhances the effect of curcumin by 2000 times.

Medical Uses of Curcuma

Curcumin is an excellent free radical scavenger. That’s why it is most often used to fight cancer. It not only works as a natural antibiotic, but also reduces the harmful effects of chemotherapy on the body.

Turmeric is used for diseases such as multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer’s disease. Needless to say, this spice has anti-inflammatory properties and cures almost all organs. At the same time, it removes toxins from the body.
